We selected this due to the shuttle provided to the airport. The shuttle hours were not for international travelers so it resulted in a 50 euro fare for a 10 minute ride. The cafe food was mediocre but the prices were HIGH. Room was very clean and comfortable and staff was professional.

Our stay was just over night but fit our needs. We wanted to be close to the airport as we were flying back to the USA in the early morning. There was a shuttle to and from the airport. There was also a shuttle into Rome for sightseeing and a pick-up shuttle back to the Holiday Inn. The rooms were nice and clean. The restaurant was pleasant and the service excellent. The food was a little pricey and the quality wasn't great for the price. We expected great Italian food but I believe we do better in the US with Italian cuisine. That was our only Italian food experience in Rome so we don't have any comparisons. Would be happy to send some recipes. The Inn was quite a trip to downtown Rome to the wonderful sights but the Inn provided the transportation which was nice.

The hotel was Ok and clean. The transfer to town was good but, if you miss it coming back the cab cost * euros. Breakfast cost * euros and there was no other place to go outside the hotel. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everthing next door.

The accommodations were OK. It was clean and comfortable. The onsite restaurant was over priced and not that good. The staff was arrogant and not too helpful, with only a few exceptions. The access to internet was costly and had no privacy. The pool looked like it would have been nice, but was roped off not allowing access. We used the shuttle to the airport and that was on time and good. However, if we had not investigated to see which shuttle bus time would be going to Terminal 5 where our flight departed, we would have been left at another terminal with all our bags. Not enough information is provided on the printed sheets - you have to find out the specifics on your own. Could have been a disaster! Be aware that taxis do not take US money....only Euros. And the ATM located down the street from the hotel was out of order. Finally, the hotel provided the money exchange for us. The most helpful folks were working in the gift shop...very friendly and helpful. This hotel is located in what appears to be a business park - only one restuarant besides the one onsite was within walking distance. And we pretty much had to find it on our own. The hotel did not acknowledge there were any other places to eat around the area when asked. Guess they were trying to promote their own restuarant.

This is one of the best values we have ever booked for a vacation. We stayed in this hotel for five nights. The hotel rooms were up-to-date and clean, and rather un-European in size and amenities, resembling more the comfort and quality expected from a hotel at this level in the US. Service at the desk and throughout the hotel and restaurant was courteous and knowledgeable. The restaurant itself was more expensive than what may be found in some restaurants in Rome, but the quality of the fare was also excellent. The safety of the site was also a plus: Rome is a beautiful city which can also be a less than safe city. This was simply the perfect choice for a family vacation in Rome.
In addition to room quality, the availability of a shuttle both to Fiumicino and to Rome, coupled with the adjacent Fiumicino line suburban train station at Muratella, provided flexibility in our tours of Rome. We spent four full days walking through the Campidoglio and Roman Forum; the baths of Caracalla, Saint John Lateran, the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon and Plaza Navona; the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's; and the Vitorinno and the Catacombs. The key? We purchased the Carta di Roma on the first day as soon as we got off the shuttle at the Campidoglio museums. With this Card, we had free entrance to several museums and free access to buses, subways and trains throughout Rome for three days.
There are two warnings. First, shuttle space is limited to 35 passengers. This is insufficient for the last run from Rome at 8 PM, in which we witnessed fistfights between passengers to get on the bus. Second, internet access is expensive. Make sure you are REALLY on vacation.
