  This is was my second trip to Saint Petersburg, and my second hotel stay. I have mixed feelings about this hotel. First, the rooms are excellent. I stayed in the executive room, and it was a very nice size with the king bed. Toiletries on hand, abundant hot water, very clean, and comfortable bed. The mixed feeling comes from the meals. I made the mistake the first day, and thought breakfast was part of my rate, like my previous hotel. Well, it wasn't...and was clearly my mistake. The problem is that the breakfast meal is roughly the equivalent of $*. Sorry, way too much, when you consider the business lunch at the same place is about $*. I never did eat breakfast there, but the lunch was acceptable, with a varied buffet menu. Location... Great!!! It is roughly 500 meters or so to a metro station, so getting around is a no brainer, and there is an adjacent grocery store. There is also a nice bar, and a steak restaurant on site. I would definitely stay again if the price was right. But looking at my next booking dates, the price will fluctuate to a much higher level, and will probably stay somewhere else.
