Be aware that this hotel has two wings to it. One is older and rundown, the other new and more modern. We found out that when we booked online, the hotel automatically places you in the older wing. Our room in the older wing was terrible. We complained to the front desk and were switched over to the new wing. I highly recommend that if you book this hotel, make sure you call them directly and request a room in the newer wing. The only way we would stay there again is if we stayed in the newer wing. My rating below is strictly based on our room in the newer wing. I also would like to state that the pool and water slide were very much enjoyed by my children (14, 8, and 5).

We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend in 2010 and were impressed with the price that we paid. The breakfast in the restaraunt is very good and very fast. Breakfast is included for 2 adults in the restaraunt but does not include tax, tips, or any drinks. People that have children may not appreciate having to pay $* to * for their kid's breakfast. The beds also weren't that comfortable but the rooms were spacious and clean. The motel is easy to find in town and has plenty of parking and everything in town is within walking distance. The slide in the pool is very fun.... that is a plus for people with children, or even adults such as myself.

The water slide was a hit with my 8 year old son. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The staff was very good to me, but I did overhear a conversation they had over the phone with a customer, that was very rude. They give you a coupon for breakfast at the onsite restaurant which is a very nice touch, but expect to wait for breakfast every morning (even if there are seats available). I really wish the restaurant was a little more efficient, because there were two mornings where we just didn't want to wait 20 minutes when they had open tables available. Overall, our stay was very good. I would stay again, but some improvements to their restaurant would have made this stay even better.

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful, but the hotel is old and uninviting. Everything in West Yellowstone Park is overpriced, but the trip through Yellowstone Park makes it worthwhile.
