We only stayed here for one night this time, and for the money, it was well worth it. The room was comfortable and clean. The only complaint I had was that there was no closet, only some rods positioned low on a wall, meaning anything more than 2 ft. in length dragged on the floor. We ended up hanging things on the top of the lock-out door. There was an issue with the TV remote, too. It was easier just to use the manual controls on the TV. We had no interaction with the hotel staff beyond checking in and out at the front desk and the person there was friendly as can be. If she'd pointed out that we could drive our car around to the far end of the hotel where our room was, she'd have saved us quite a walk, though. I would definitely stay here again, but only for a night or two, no long vacation stay. This hotel is perfect for when you just need a place for a short stay and you won't be in the room a lot and don't want to spend a lot.

Convenient to Springfield with easy access to I-91. Relatively noise-free location, near chain restaurants and a mall. Friendlys restaurant attached to the hotel serves a good breakfast. The hotel shows its age (carpets, windows, etc. a bit worn; atrium roof in meetings space leaked during rain), but the rooms are relatively large, clean and well appointed. We found the hotel staff very pleasant and helpful, bringing a cot and extra linens quickly and cheerfully. The WiFi connection was included free with room, and actually worked, even though our room was relatively distant from the front desk.

My fianc? and I stayed there while we visited her family for Christmas & New Years Dec-08. I decided to stay there because I am familiar with the brand since I travel about 70% of the time for business. I was happy that this location met my expectations for service and comfort which I am sure that the fact that it was recently remodeled had a lot to do with it. I also enjoyed the workout room which is small but well equipped. I didn?t swim but I did see the pool and Jacuzzi used a lot by other guests; the pool and Jacuzzi were well maintained and are a good size. Additionally, we found the hotel to be convenient because it was centrally located near the mall, 20 minutes to Amherst & North Hampton, and 45 minutes to the Berkshires, 10 minutes to Chicopee & Springfield, and 30 minutes to Bradley International Airport. The hotel also felt like it was in a relatively safe area. I will definitely stay there the next time we visit.

The room I stayed in was older. The temperature control was off so the room was freezing and then when you turned it on - it stayed on. So I would have to get up int he night to adjust the temp of the room and since the fan was on constantly - it was vrey dry in the room. The mattresses were very hard. Like sleeping on the floor but the pillows were soft and comfy. The toilet was broken we I got there. They did fix it immediately but it still didn't flush well. The water temp in the shower was very touchy. The water was hot but it you turned the cold on just a little bit - then the water went less than luke warm. The maid service was excellent and the towels were very big and fluffy. The cerks at the desk were nice and helpful. But I don't think I will stay there again.

Front Desk Staff was very friendly and welcoming. We had a nice room with a view. Room and bathroom was clean. There was plenty of towels in the bathroom. The only thing I could say bad about the place was that the pillows were to small and it felt like I was sleeping on the mattress. Also the drain in the tub was very slow. There was some stains on the ceiling and wall but told the front desk about the stains on the way out. There was a plate that sat at the end of the hallway when we got there and did not move till the day we left. Overall I would stay at this hotel again it was not to far away from major attractions or shopping and dinning.
