I have traveled extensively over the last year, and we stayed at the Homestead as part of Parent's Weekend at the Univ of Delaware. I understand that this was an extended stay, however, I felt that this hotel should have been kept better. The beds were like boards, there was a beer can behind the dresser, and the tv remote didn't work. I paid extra to have the internet service, and my computer wouldn't connect to it. (I was able to get that money reimbursed). The bathroom looked old, and the tiles were cracked. The vent in the bathroom barely worked, and there was a plunger left under the sink. I would have brought this to the attention of the desk clerk, but they went home for the night. I booked this room because of the efficiency of the "suite", but I would never take my family here again.

10/19/2009If you choose to go here be prepare..people slamming door and if on bottom level you will hear people moving around up stairs..the room was clean but thewas ...
If you choose to go here be prepare..people slamming door and if on bottom level you will hear people moving around up stairs..the room was clean but thewas something disturbing in my room that had me shook the the rest of the stay..Should have went to Residence Inn more money but a hell of alot better!!!
