I would not stay at this place ever again. We arrived to a smokers room which I had to change out. Then the next room had some sort of cleaner left on the floor and counters that was slippery. Most of the furniture looked old and worn. The bathroom faucet leaked, the TV remote did not work and the coffee maker took almost 1/2 hour to brew. I reported all this and it took four days and three complaints to get anything done. Then on day 8 of our stay, with no maid in sight, I asked about getting our room done. They said it should have been done the day before but she would get someone to do it that day. On day 10 I went in again and the same rude person told me it would be done in three days. I told her to get it done right away or give me a discount. They finally did the room. It is too bad because the place is fairly new in a good part of town. Just lousy management. Dont stay there!!

Wanted a quick and inexpensive get-away for 4th of July; since the rains were inundating the area. The travel website identified this site as good value. Indeed, it is one of those hidden treasures. There was only one hiccup in my experience. In my first room, the tiolet "whistled". Called front desk, they immeditedly offered to send someone up to fix and/or change rooms. I opted to change room. Second room was freshly painted and perfect. Front desk later called to check on me--to see if everything okay or needed, and offer a wake-up call. Please excuse the grammer but "if that ain't service...fat meat ain't greasy". You get my drift. In the end, an overall GREAT VALUE!

This hotel is excellent value for the money. Rooms are small but clean. You only have housekeeping once a week but you can get supplies when you call the office. Quiet and close to restaurants.
