I had made a reservation at this hotel 6 weeks prior to a trip to the Minneapolis/St. Paul region. We arrived around 11:30 a.m. and thought we would try to check-in even though we knew it was early. Of coarse the room was not ready but we told them we would be back after attending a baseball game. We returned at 7:00 pm ready to relax and were told our room was "out of service" but they found us another room....10 miles away! We had planned activities at the Mall of America that night and were very disappointed. The hotel did cover the cost at the other hotel but we still felt left out in the cold especially since we made the reservation with plenty of time to spare. I had a prepaid reservation for 2 nights (about $300) for a non-smoking suite for our 6-person family trip to Mall of America. When I got there after traveling 12 hours, they had booked me into a smoking room and could not accomodate a change. The lady behind the desk said, and I quote, "Just because you have a reservation for non-smoking doesn't mean you're going to get a non-smoking room." Her manager backed her up. I got my money back and stayed across the parking lot at the Country Inn and Suites. I paid a little more but had a great stay there.

This hotel was great! We have two children 8 and 11. The service was wonderful, catered to all of our needs and then some. The shuttle is great especially with the cold weather and very prompt. The food was really good, breakfast and the dinner meal both were outstanding, and it really saved us alot of money on food. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks to all!!

Very friendly, helpful staff. We were greeted and given information about services of the faciliy. They were having Suite supper for the guests when we got there. This looked very good but we had eaten already so didn't partake. There was hot dogs, chicken and salad. We were told about the hot breakfast in the morning. It was worth getting up for and was very tasty. The staff was friendly and were keeping the things full with a good variety. The room was large and very comfortable for three. It was a bit dirty in the corners of the rooms, dusty and lint around. I didn't feel unclean just not tidy. Overall, would go back again.

This was one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The free shuttle to and from the airport and Mall of America was great. The female shuttle driver was wonderful. I wish I had gotten her name. She deserves a huge raise. The room was spacious and clean. The king size bed was like heaven. The pull out sofa bed in the living room and a little hard but was fine. The free breakfast and dinner was unbelievable. We were able to save a lot of money on meals. The pool was one of the biggest that I've seen at a hotel. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends, especilally ones with children.
