My wife and I stayed one night on a recent weekend. We were in the area to visit our son at college 30 miles away. Part of the reason we chose this hotel was because it provided easy access (right off Interstate) back and forth to the college. We had also seen positive reviews and I was already pre-booked here for a future business trip. Also, the room price was much cheaper than in the college town. After we picked up our son, he joined us at the hotel for the afternoon and we all enjoyed relaxing at the pool and whirlpool. Except for one other family, we had the pool area to ourselves. The same was true the next morning as we took a swim before departure. The suites were quiet, up to date and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate although I have seen better. We utilized the computers in the foyer and were completely satisfied. Because of the winter snow on the ground, this hotel was not distinguishable from another chain hotel next door. But inside, the place was fine. Staff at the desk were also very helpful and accomodating. I am staying here on business next month and look forward to it as the hotel is also close to a mall and numerous chain restaurants. I also plan to stay here again when we visit my son next Fall. Finally, I was able to get this room with a good discount (20%). It is hard to find a suite in a major urban area for under $*/night, so I consider this an exceleent choice.

Over the last 2 years we have stayed here 10 times. This last time it is apparent that normal upkeep is not happening. The hotels appearance was tired and used. The staff weren't wearing the Hilton standard dress. The morning "meal" was HORRIBLE. We used to enjoy this hotel. Now we are looking for another place to stay in Rochester. Read their pet policy carefully... they charge $* for a pet - even for ONE night. Atrocious.

Excellent, excellent, excellent. We are a Grandma and Grandpa that come from OH quite often to visit our grandkids in Penfield. Love the facility and have been staying there for almost 8 years. Grandkids love the pool and we love the pet policy. Hot breakfast is wonderful. Already have 3 stays planned for 2010.

Hotel was great for a family with kids. Loved the pool, space in the room for kids, and cooking our own waffles for breakfast. Only negative was that the low price attracted visiting high school sports teams that were a bit noisy while trying to put the kids to bed! Close to Craker Barrel, Target, Krispy Kreme, Wendy's....
