  The elevator is very small. When you check in make sure you get a room near the elevator or else you will get to your floor and go up steps down a hall, down steps down a hall and up steps. With alot of luggage it was a problem. We stayed before a cruise and just lugging the luggage the first night was an experience in itself with the stairs. When we came back after the cruise I requested right away a room near the elevator so that we didn't have to go up steps, down a hall, down steps, down a hall and then up steps. We did get a suite the lst time and a regular room the 2nd. The hotel was great for the price and for Europe. Make sure the phone is on for a wake-up. The location is perfect.

  This hotel was very charming. The staff was warm and friendly, gladly answered questions. The hotel was spotless. The location was great, right next to the canals, and shopping area. Breakfast was very good. Loved sitting in the courtyard!!
