  Hotel del Mare is very conveniently located close to the airport and Ostia Antica, right on the beach at Fiumicino. Not such a good location for visiting central Rome. The rooms are clean and everything works, breakfast is good. Staff are especially helpful, giving directions and advice, calling taxis etc. You will need taxis to get in and out, since transit is a bit remote. However there are trains into Rome a few kilometres away. Surrounding area is dark at night. Not unsafe, but inconvenient for walking.
