After staying in a tiny apartment for five days, moving to The Brighton was like going to heaven. The bathroom was huge with a tub AND shower. I loved the silk drapes and bedding. The view over the city was spectacular and worth the extra price of being on the front. I will definately stay here again. Everyone was friendly. Note: After reading your on-line reviews, I upgraded my room two months in advance by e-mail and agian by phone to make sure I had a front facing room on the 4th floor with a balcony. When we checked in, I was handed a key to a room on the 2nd floor. When I asked again for the floor I requested and was assured of, the clerk went into the computer and was finally able to give me a room on the 4th floor, afterall. I would like to avoid the room assignment issue next time. Suggestions? Overall we were very happy with our stay.

06/19/2008Very comfortable and pleasing decor. wonderfully friendly and accomodating staff. located in walking distance of louvre, musee de orsay, truilleries, and many nice shops along rue de rivoli.
