Main Frustrations: 1.) When I arrived at the hotel in the morning, it took them 10 minutes to find my reservation. After dropping my bags at the front desk and coming back, it again took them 10 minutes to find my reservation. When I went to check out they provided me with a bill. I explained that I had prepaid on Travel online and I was informed that they had no record of this. I had written down the Travel online trip ID and confirmation number, but that was meaningless to them. Finally, they had me look it up on the computer (while they stood over my shoulder) and print out the travel online receipt. This whole process took 45 minutes, and nearly made me miss my flight. 2.) There isn't a fitness room . That was a key factor in my choice of this hotel. Hotel Overview: The hotel itself is a typical locallly-owned small hotel. The elevator is about 3' by 4 Feet, so plan to take the winding staircase. The room was cramped. My bed was two twin beds put together. The tub was very deep/high off the ground so I was thankful to be so limber when I climbed in and out of it. You have to leave your key at the front desk each time you leave this hotel, and there is not a lockbox. Staff: The staff of the hotel was very nice and very fluent in English. Location: The hotel is right down the street from the Monceau metro stop. The road that this stop is on will take you straigth to the Arc D'Triomphe if you're willing to walk. The metro stop is in front of Parc du Monceau which is a small, but beautiful park that is great for running.
