Wife and I stayed for a couple of days at Hotel Indigo. We enjoyed everything about the hotel. The staff were polite and helpful, rooms were clean, good location and the breakfast at the hotel was very good too. We would stay here again

We stayed two nights and have not one complaint. Beautiful, clean rooms with an amazing mountain view as a background. On site parking and a helpful front desk staff. This place was convenient to everything with highway exits right there and downtown a short walk. Granted all we did was sleep there, we ate downtown and were out all day but what a pleasure to come back to.

Pros: Excellent Location. It is located right off the highway so it was very easy to find. You can walk to anywhere in downtown Asheville from the hotel. Hip decor: It is a brand new hotel and the decor is very modern and hip. Clean and Comfortable. Dog friendly - I guess this could be a pro or a con depending on your personal views, but I will say there were several dogs staying there and I never heard a peep or saw a mess from them. Cons: No carpet in the room. The floors are "hardwood" and although looked nice, it was too comfy walking on them in the middle of the night. Lighting: All of the bulbs in the room were harsh fluorescent. I know this is very minor, but I find it hard on the eyes not to mention no one looks good under fluorescent lighting. Since those are my only two complaints, I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5.

Within walkiing distance of downtown. One block from the Grove Arcade and Civic Center. Dozens of restaurants and cafes within 10 minutes walk. If you're a "foodie", you're going to absolutely love downtown Asheville. Very nice staff. Within 10 minutes of settling into my room, I received a call from the Front Desk to inquire if everything about my room was acceptable. I had a king room "with a view" - the room was on the fourth floor, so the view wasn't exactly spectacular. Apparently, permanent residences are up on the upper-most floors of the building (where I was expecting to be). I did learn that the king rooms are of three different sizes. I stayed in one of the larger rooms and it was very nicely appointed. Hardware flooring, pleasing color scheme, flat screen TV, a huge shower, and probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Pros - great, safe location and the bed alone made it worth the money. Cons - pull both sets of curtains before going to bed. There's a lot of bright lighting outside the building.
