  I could not get past the booking for this hotel. I made a reservation in April for a stay in November. I used my credit card to guarantee the reservations, not to pay them in advance. In August, a charge for one night's stay appeared. I inquired. Seems that the hotel lost my reservations for November and had me booked for August. When I failed to show up for my fictitious stay, they charged me a 1 night penalty as a 'no show' fee. They were kind enough to admit they made a mistake with my reservations, but wanted to keep my money as advance payment. I asked them for a refund and to just cancel November's reservations because I found a better hotel. The hotel did not respond and did not refund my money. I needed to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
