Nicely renovated hotel built before the crash. However, it's noisy. The doors to the restaurant and outside are heavy wooden doors with no rubber bumpers to dampen the sound when they close. So, you get to hear "bang, bang, bang" every time some comes or goes. The people in charge had a contract cleaning company come in at 10 pm to buff the lobby floor. They used a gas powered buffer that was extremely noisy. The old hotel is brick and steel constructed with an open 2 floor area in the lobby and there is nothing in the lobby to dampen any of the sound so it sounded like a jackhammer outside the room door. And I was put into a room over the bar/restaurant so I got to listen to the local "talent" whether I wanted to or not. My stepson's family was on the elevator and it started to go up--without the doors closing. And they got the pleasure of listening to kitchen noises half the night.
