We had a group of ten who needed a few rooms. We drove to Texas and came to this adorable little inn. I personally went in first to see if they had anything open, they did. The gentleman who helped us was really nice and even told us a free breakfast was on the way in about an hour. We all got into our rooms, a couple of us got online to use their free internet, one of my friends ran and got us all coffee which was free too, and we all enjoyed our stay. Oh yeah, the weather was awesome so we all dipped in the pool!

Had a real good stay recently at the Howard Johnson Express Inn & Suites in Beaumont Texas. Great staff, great food and even better rates. I appreciated the peace and quiet as some hotels can get a little noisy. I had early meetings and liked the fact that every morning I got a free complimentary breakfast and more than enough coffee and my own alarm to get me up. they have a laundry list of amenities and a really wonderful staff. If you're in the area, or even passing through, you should book a stay at Howard Johnson Express Inn & Suites in Beaumont Texas!

I will never stay here again. I had never been to a hotel where I had been treated so poorly. The GM/ Owner is very rude. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.

Hotel staff was friendly upon arrival. Beds were comfortable. Internet service was unavailable. Room was clean, but had a slight odor to it. Front desk called as soon as we got in the room to see if it was OK. Found baby cockroaches in the bathroom in the morning. Called front desk and their answer was to spray the room while we were there. Apologized for the inconvenience, but offered nothing else. Very disapplointed. Stayed elsewhere for the remainder of our Beaumont visit.

We stayed overnight. The pool is small and right at the road, but clean. The room was very clean, fairly large, and had a fridge and a microwave. Management was responsive when we needed towels and also to a blind patron who was there while we were there. Breakfast included fresh waffles--a nice touch. All in all a good experience
