This is by far the best hotel in Grand Forks. Great food, super lounge and spotless rooms. The staff is very friendly and the hotel has a great waterpark. There are newer hotels in town but they are not as nice at this one. This was a holidat inn but has changed to a clarion for some reason. Holiday inn has very high standards and this hotel is way above a Holiday inn. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The food is so good and the drinks are so cheap in the bar they are almost free. Book here and hope that the price does not go up. ITs a steal at $*a night

We stayed here for only one night and never again! The hotel is in need of a complete overhaul. The rooms (we had 2) were mold-infested and humid. The windows were actually dripping with water. The carpets were damp. The pool area's floor was crumbling and the main waterslide wasn't even working. The staircase at entrance D was concrete and missing big chunks of concrete. My husband tripped on them at least 3 times. Completely dangerous especially because he was carrying our 9 month old. The showers also had no water pressure. When we arrived our room was at least 27 C and humid! We turned the thermostat to cool with a high fan. After leaving for a couple hours we came back to our room still being hot. When we went to complain at the front desk we were told that because it was November the entire hotel was turned to heat only so no A/C or cooling was available. At 5 am my son woke us all up because he was coughing so badly and he couldn't breathe. The mold in our room was awful. My son also has no history of allergies or asthma so you know it must be bad. I complained at the front desk and did end up getting my room for 1/2 price but still not worth having a sick child. I myself also felt like I couldn't breathe and we noticed many other people leaving with the same types of coughs. All in all, I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone unless they would like to inhale mold spores and be exposed to black mold.

Mold in the bathroom, ugly stain under the refrigerator too gross to look at closely, worn out furniture and fixtures, loud and smelly heating unit....even the guest guide book is a mess....I am stuck here tonight paying because the whole town is booked up, I would expect better conditions even at 1/3 of the price.

The waterpark was great for kids, the restaurant was passible and the room was clean and spacious....if only there was a door! We have three young kids so we always stay at hotels with suites for privacy and comfort...this would have been an excellent hotel IF the bedroom had a door.
