The hotel itself is fine. The halls are a bit dimly lit, but it's clean and the staff was reasonably attentive. The rooms are small but have everything you want for an overnight stay. The problem is the bed. Sleeping on that bed was like sleeping on a slab of concrete with a cushion on top of it. VERY uncomfortable. If you just need a cheap place to stay or even prefer a hard bed, go for it. If comfort is a priority, look elsewhere. Also, the hotel was built with a very odd structural setup that has every section of 20 or so rooms separated by a small staircase. If you need handicapped access, it's not as simple as finding the elevator.

Unless you are totally broke DO NOT STAY HERE! First off... do not let the pictures of this place fool you. They had to have been taken like 10 years ago because they do not at all reflect the shape of the rooms or the hotel now. As soon as I walked into the dark... dank hallway... I knew that we had made a mistake. The light fixtures were either broken or hanging off of the walls. There were stains on the wall and the carpets. The locks were broken off of doors. There was trash in the hall and the stairwells. Then our room... as soon as we opend the door the rank odor hit us in the face! We didnt even have a smoking room and I had to wash all of my clothes including hat and coat when I got home. The carpet was visibly flilthy... the lock to the balcony (not sure why there was a balcony) was broken so had to prop a table against it to keep it closed. The pillows smelled like dirty hair as well as the blanket. The towels had brown spots on them. There was a large tear in the window curtains. After about 15 minutes of soaking it all in... we finally checked out and got another room somewhere else. Don't say you were not warned!

Sheet slipped off boxspring to reveal MAJOR body fluids like blood on it. Looks like either someone died there or was killed. Moldy tile in bathroom. JUST NASTY!! Locks were busted on back doors leading to parking lot.

A fairly decent place to stay for a weekend trip. The room had a small frig, microwave, coffee pot and so on. Rooms were not bad, but could have used some touch ups here and there. They have a good breakfast area where you can fix your own waffles. The only draw back to a good overnight or weekend stay is this is 2 levels with stair access only.
