Located on 185 acres along the banks of the Thames River in Uncasville, Connecticut, Mohegan Sun is owned and operated by the Mohegan Tribe and is one of the largest gaming resorts in the country. The sprawling property opened in 1996 and is home to a pair of luxury hotel towers, including the 34-story Sky Tower, with 1,176 guest rooms, 180 of which are suites, and the 400-room (39 suites) Earth Tower. Hyatt Place Mohegan Sun is approximately 1.2 miles from the resort and is also a lodging option.

Other property amenities include a total of 275k sq ft of flexible indoor meeting space, with the Earth Expo & Convention Center, Sky Convention Center, Mohegan Sun Arena, 38k sq ft Uncas Ballroom, a business center and more. 

There is also a multitude of retail shops, more than 40 dining options, bars and lounges, a 20 sq ft spa, salon, and fitness center, a 10,000 sq ft indoor pool, a spacious outdoor sun terrace, Mohegan Sun Mobil Gas Station & Convenience Store, three entertainment venues for live music and headline acts in the Mohegan Sun Arena, Sun Patio, The Cabaret Theatre, and the Wolf Den, an 18-hole private golf course and more. 

Mohegan Sun’s more than 300,000 sq ft of gaming space features three unique gaming venues, including the nearly 180,000 sq ft Casino of the Earth, the 119,000 sq ft Casino of the Sky, and with 45,000 sq ft, Casino of the Wind. There are nearly 5,000 slot machines, and over 300 table games including a smoke-free 33-table poker room and a full-service Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook located in Casino of the Earth.

Mohegan Sun is huge and only slightly smaller than the former world's largest casino, Foxwoods, also in Connecticut.

The 33-table smoke-free poker room here is located in the Hall of Lost Tribes and hosts daily cash games including Omaha, Texas Hold 'Em, No Limit Texas Hold 'Em, 7 Card Stud, 7 Card Lo (Razz), Badugi and 2-7 Triple Draw. And tournaments Sunday through Tuesday and Fridays featuring No Limit Texas Hold 'Em and Bounty tournaments. 

Hold’em games are played 9-handed and 8-handed for stud games. Food is not permitted at the Poker table. Guests must purchase buy-in at cage (First buy-in only) Table and seat changes will be permitted.

Whether you want the bustle of a 10,000 person crowd rocking to top name entertainers, or prefer to get one of the Arena Suites with VIP service over looking the crowd and stage, you will always be in for the show of your life at Mohegan Sun Arena. The Cabaret Theatre

Wolf Den

People all over the Eastern Seaboard know that the best concerts anywhere near the coast happen at Mohegan Sun. Sun Patio

Mohegan Sun’s 2,100 sq. ft. outdoor Sun Patio features a Sun Patio Bar, complete with six hi-definition screens, a full bar, and six bartender stations, and is home to many exciting events throughout the season such as the Hot Summer Fun Party on the Sun Patio concert series. The outdoor venue is open to the public, however, private parties can be booked for up to 2,000 guests. The Sun Patio Bar is also available for booking private parties of up to 300 guests. Sun Patio is located off Casino of the Earth between Riverview and Indian Summer Garage.

The Lodge: Located in Casino of the Earth, rustic, full-service bar serving beer, wine and liquor. Flat screen TVs and bar-top video poker. 

Harvest Moon Bar: Full-service bar with plasma TVs and multidenominational video slots, offering beer, wine and liquor. Closed Mon & Tues. 

Taughannick Falls Bar: Located in front of Todd English's Tuscany, serving all your favorite cocktails while you relax in front of a 55-foot indoor waterfall that flows down to Chahnameed's Island.

Meeting & Event Space

There is more than 100,000 square feet of meeting and function space, including the 38,000 square-foot Uncas Ballroom and a professionally-managed business center at Mohegan Sun. All totaled, the massive property has 275,000 sq ft of indoor meeting space, including the main spaces:

Mohegan Sun RV Parking

A permit is required for RV parking on property. Guests will be asked to present their permit to security for verification upon arrival in the parking lot.
