From the moment we entered this hotel, it was a wonderful experience. The hotel was exceptional, and the staff goes out of the way to assist the guests. We especially loved the buffet breakfast in the morning. It consisted of flavorful sauage links - thick, crispy bacon - fluffy, scrambled eggs -flavorful potatoes - exquisite pastries - fresh fruit - hot, creamy oatmeal - muffins, etc. The breakfast is exceptional! Loved the hotel - Will definitely stay here again!!

The Hotel was beautiful from the outside, they first person we met was very nice, we checked in very late and quickly. When we got toour room it was not what we asked for, but they did changeafter they told us we were not priority because we did not pay full price for the room. In all fairness they gave us a balcony. I found the room very small, not enoughs space to pu tour clothes for 7 dyas. Its a hotel to stay for just 1 or 2 days. I have been to other Hotel with business conferences and they were spacious, cleaner and nicer

My daughter, nephew and I didn't go on our typical 1 week vacation this year, so I figured we'd get away for just a few days, spend a day at Great America and stay somewhere close to it. Since we were only staying 2 nights, I figured I'd splurge a bit and spend $*/night for a really nice hotel, 'choices were Hyatt Regency and Hilton, both showing as strong 4 stars in several places including the AAA book. I booked Hyatt Regency since I figured they were likely equal and Hyatt was just a bit less expensive.
I found the staff to be very professional and courteous, but I was frustrated to find the number of things "wrong" with our room/overall stay that were really a matter of inattentiveness. Even some follow-up or more thorough actions of employees would have really improved our stay.
I can see how some things aren't in great shape in some motels, but to have no cold water in the bathroom sink (recently remodeled, I think, but inattention nonetheless). The cordless phone in the room didn't work, luckily the standard phone worked, enabling us to call about various things including those mentioned plus the last digit of the clock/radio had some burned out segments-making it difficult to read the exact time.
These two kids love the pool, it's their favorite part of these trips. To find 20-30 wet towels draped across furniture, laying on the ground and no dry towels was disappointing. An otherwise nice pool area was marred by half the pool lights working, no less than 2 requests with the front desk and various staff looking for towels (we had to ask both days and wait for someone to finally bring them!)
Room service food was not as good as Coco's locally. Overall it was overpriced.
