Have stayed at this property many times. Once for six weeks, Summerfield has amenities you won't find at other properties, and very nice rooms. I am amazed this place can do what it does for the rates they charge. I can't think of any other place in the DC area (and I have stayed at many places) that is a better value. Also, they do a great job at recruiting exceptional staff. Twenty years ago I was in corporate sales for a 5 star property. Prior to that I was a front desk manager. I know hospitality. Hyatt Summerfield stands out above and beyond any compatible property in Washington.

I really like this hotel, it's really in the middle of all need. I am looking for a house up there and I stay at the hotel every weekend. I love it. The only problem is that I am allergic to down and all they give you are down pillows. There is a polyester pillow in the closet and you can ask for one at the front desk, but they are so overstuffed you sleep almost sitting up. *Take your own pillows* For just a couple I would recommend the one bedroom suite, not the studio. The one bedroom suite is nice and spacious (and has 2 flatscreen TVs!), the only difference is that with the studio you're in the same room as the refrigerator, and it makes noise and wakes you up at night. Other than that, the breakfast is great, Target is a block away and the interstate and airport are nearby. Again, I like it so much and it has such a good price that I go there every weekend.

Best kept secret in town. If you are traveling with family, this is the place to come. The rates are great and the rooms are wonderful. Try the two bedroom suite. It is awesome! This is a made like a two-bedroom apartment complete with flat screen tv and fireplace. Wonderful. Can't beat the price.

This is the first time we have stayed in this hotel while visiting the Washington area. The room was clean, nicely furnished and had a fireplace (a great treat). The staff was nice and altough a bit slow to reponsd, did help us find some cream for our coffee when we asked mid-day. The breakfast buffet was awful. The eggs were dry, tasteless and probably reconstituted from powder. The sausage was burned and gave our party terrible heartburn. There is no indoor pool and the hot tub was not functional. Overall, the hotel was a great value for the price and we would stay again (but bring our own breakfast food)

We stayed here for a family trip to Washington, there were five of us in a 2 bedroom suite and that included a full hot breakfast. The rooms were fabulous and well appointed. The hotel property was well looked after. Pool is only an outdoor pool and local by-laws say it can only be open from 11am - 8pm which was diappointing but out of the hotel's control. Our only complaint was the breakfast, not a lot of choice and the staff could never keep up with the demand the duartion of our stay. It's about a 20 min. drive to Washington but on the other hand you are close to the airport (Dulles)
