I checked-in to hotel and found the room to be dirty i.e. smell of urine and the floor in the bathroom was dirty and the comforter had burn marks on it. Also, carpet was dirty and there were holes in the walls. If you value even a minimum standard of cleanliness, don't stay here. Total check-in time was two hours (the length of time it took me to find another place) and I was still charged for a whole night's stay, despite my protest. Again, I would never stay here.

This property is in the midst of much needed renovations, and really is not appealing at the moment. The carpet is tired and worn, the air is musty and there are no security locks on the doors. I cannot recommend this property for an overnight at this time.
On the other hand the restaurant on the same property is GREAT!. Haveli is and Indian restaurant with a wide and diverse menue. The service and food were great, and there was a good crowd, even mid-week. The restaurant is well worth a visit. -

I was not too sure if this hotel was going to measure up. But, I was on an emergency trip. With the unexpected costs of a cross-country flight, meals, etc., I was frugal. When I got to the hotel, I got nervous. The outside is being renovation. It didn?t look pretty. I was sure Norman Bates was lurking around the corner. The front desk was alarming, too. The clerk is hidden behind a glass wall. I stood there looking for the bullet holes!
My room was next to the office (and manager?s residence). Upon entering I was surprised! This room is HUGE. It has a super-king sized bed (Select Comfort) that you could adjust to your own level firmity ? just like the commercials. The furniture was a bit dismal, dated and defunct. But, what the heck ? for $50 a night this was a bargain! The bathroom was spacious and most importantly the shower was powerful with all the hot water I could want. There was a plasma screen TV mounted on the wall for my entertainment.
On the downside, there was no viewing mechanism in the door and no dead bolt for security. That was easily fixed by taking one of the chairs and jamming it under the doorknob.
The management is very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of parking and although there is no onsite restaurant there are numerous eateries 2 minutes away. At the base of the hill (walking distance from the hotel) is a restaurant featuring the cuisine from India. What a find! It had to be the best meal that I had during my stay and very reasonably priced, too.
So, if you?re on a tight budget and need spacious digs ? this place is a pretty decent deal!
