Place is great. Not a corporate chain and not a cheesy 1960's hotel either. Rooms are huge and staff was very nice and accommodating. Stayed a night and recommended to other friends who stayed too. Perfect walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. We all loved it. Only complaint, pillows hurt everyone's necks. But everything else was great and would stay there again, hard pillows and all.

We went upstate a day earlier than expected due to the weather, so I made a last minute extra day reservation at the inn. We arrived about 6pm, we were upgraded to a suite supposedly one night, the next day we were ready to be moved to a kingside room and the manager asked if we were comfortable in our room. I responded yes and for the next 4 nights we had a suite. It was great. My only issue is with their breakfast. On the weekends their is a self service hot breakfast, bacon and eggs, muffins etc. The coffee is in a thermos, tepid at best. During the week it is basically a cold breakfast. I tried making instant oatmeal, the hot water was not hot enough to cook the instant oatmeal! We had two very good dinners at the hotel. Try the baked Brie, or the crab cakes with a lime aioli. Delicious!!!!

The Inn at Saratoga is an ideal place to escape the hectic winter holidays. The accomodations were great and rooms are readily available in this slower season. The Inn provided the softest bed I have ever slept in while vacationing. Also, it employs a friendly staff and attracts a quality patron. The Inn is located within walking distance of downtown. Restaurants, bars, and stores are all withing a few blocks. It's cold, but there are plenty of places to warm up in on your travels. My wife and I stayed their with friends in two separate rooms. Neither couple had a point of contention. We will return to the Inn for sure. The value was excellent during the winter season.
