We went to the very friendly receptionist and told her that our room was dble beds not queen, she stated that we were not "charged." The indoor pool was clean, however, the trahs barrell in the corner had not been emptied since our arrival (2-3 days). I am disaapointed in the Inn, it is not what I remember, but then again it is not owned and operated by the same people. The room that we had was a standard room with A/C. The room was very clean and the skink(s) were outside of the bathroom which is convenient for a family.

I am not one to complain, and my husband and I do not expect high expectations while on vacation, (live the simple life). We have been staying at the Beacon resort off and on for 20 yrs now, in fact my grandmother had been going there longer. I decided to book with the Inn of Lincoln (used to be the suite and deluxe room section of the Beacon) because when it was the Beacon, we stayed in this section, so we figured, let's try it out. I booked via the phone and requested a room on the second floor (cheaper than the first) and two queen beds (have two teen boys); our room was 241 and we purchased the meal plan with woodwards. We checked in and our room was changed to the first floor (was not charged for the upgrade) and was told that our new room (117) had two queens. The room was clean and to give credit where credit is due, they are trying to renovate the inn since the new ownership one year ago. Our son got a piece of broken glass with a point in his food. We told the waitress and that was it, expected the manager to come out. My DH ordered prime rib and it was fatty and all bone. We did go back to the Inn and explain the situation and they did refund our money for that meal. So we said that we would give it another \try for breakfast the next day, we our food was cold and our pancakes appeared to be frozen. We went to the reception desk and we "upgraded" to dad's. we have always eaten here and loved it. I am glad we did, thye food was amazing and we even got desert.
