The hotel was very nice and everything I expected. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk was very helpful and the cleaning crew was on point. The only negative thing was the parking situation. They charged $* per day to park and that was a little different. I was able to walk to the Galleria and places to eat with no problem. I would stay at InterContinental again when in the Houston area.

Our room was spacious and very well presented. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Within short walking distance of the Galleria mall and Valentino's restaurant which we enjoyed. I must say that I was disappointed by the size of the pool and the lack of a bar there. Great experience overall

The hotel itself was gorgeous and the location was wonderful. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The only problems that we had were with the charges on all of the amenities. We expected to pay for certain things, but parking and internet? That was a bit much.

07/10/2010Great hotel, tainted by unmentioned $* parking fee. also, ridiculous refrigerator scheme. it was stocked with liquor and candy that could not be removed without being automatically charged. tiny space left ...
Great hotel, tainted by unmentioned $* parking fee. Also, ridiculous refrigerator scheme. It was stocked with liquor and candy that could not be removed without being automatically charged. Tiny space left to be used by customer. Fridge could be emptied out by staff, but for extra charge. Ridiculous. Beautiful rooms, but on the small size. Staff was extremely fast and courteous. Took three tries to make room keys that worked. Long distance from parking garage to room. Iow, exhausting walk. Overall nice hotel, but I would not stay there again.
