We stayed at the Real Intercontinental for one night since we were going to be visiting 4 other cities in Nicaragua. All I can say is that it is a fabulous hotel. Beautiful lobby, rooms, bar, pool...Everything was clean and well equipped. We stayed in an executive room which included free drinks from 6-8 pm and breakfast in a private lounge. Everything was great! The bartender, I believe his name was Jose, was very cordial and friendly. The breakfast was also great! Even though the nacatamales (traditional nicaraguan dish) had run out, they were nice enough to order more for me! It is also steps away from the mall and it has a beautiful view of Managua Lake. Definitely recommend this hotel!

I often stay here when I return to Nicaragua, the Shuttle service from the airport is prompt and courteous, the drive to the Hotel is confusing so make sure you know where and how your going to your destination. The Hotel staff are all well experienced and very professional in thier tasks, make sure you explain what your request are, they will be accomodated but make sure, Expect a service that at times seem slow but thats Nicaragua. The rooms are top rated, beds, TV, internet, mini-bar, just overaall good. The bathrooms are very nice, great towels, lots of them. Breakfast is the icing on the cake, whatever you desire(within Nicaragua), you can request, omlettes, pancakes, fruits, cereal,, great coffee. Overall a great Hotel near a major shopping mall.

Very beautiful hotel right next to one of the two most popular and modern shopping centers, multiplexes and food court, and one of the best steak houses in Managua, El Chrusco. Beds very comfortable, clean and rooms have high end furnishings. Beautiful lobby with lots of natural artifacts looking out to the pool. In my opinion the best hotel in Managua for the price and I am a permanent resident now. The only shortcoming is the quality of the staff. They are young, beautiful and not well service trained. Other than that it is a real bargain (except you have to pay for wifi). Look for weekend discounts since this is clearly the premier business hotel.
