Nice, beach, nice pool, nice room. Poor customer service. We were asked daily if we were guests of the hotel. Not helpful at all. One entry to the pool area was closed and we were told to go out the front door and around the outside of building to get to the pool. Stay at your own risk. Next time we will go to an all inclusive hotel.

Beautiful room. Street side of Hotel room was a bit noisy but got quiet after 11 pm. Ya'll were right ------- Best Beach in Cancun ! Loved the see through shower window ! You might pass on the Sail Boat ride that docks off the beach there. Not really worth the money. The Breakfast Buffet was great. All other meals a bit over priced & way to salty. Had to send the chicken back & the replacement was almost the same. Portions were for Skinny people. Go to the business office near the front desk & use their computers for free. All the staff were Super !

This hotel was very nice to stay in I would stay again, Not too much going on in a good way. the bell hops from the time you get out of your taxi to you leave everything in no problem. Front desk different story. Not helpful at all. We got there around 11 am and our room was not ready she said an hour. I came back in two hours still not ready, she said 30 min let her ask the maid how long we waited another hour and a half at that point I raised hell because now I had fell asleep in the lobby. This could have been easily avoided if she reminded us in the beginning that check in was at 3pm not 3 hours lady of brushing us on. at that point it was too late. I made them give me an upgraded room. I forgot to mention I paid for the day before and I just got there a day late. So they should have had a room ready anyway. But I would stay again in a heart beat just remember check in is at three. oh and by the way no one told us that the time went forward the day I was leaving. so I would have missed my flight. No signs were posted anywhere in the lobby. I found out because they had slipped the notice that morning while I was packing under the door at that point I realize i had 30 min to get downstairs. That may have been an honest mistake but culd have been huge.

My wife and I stayed at the InterContinental in Cancun summer 09. We stayed for seven days and we both felt the price was well worth it. The pools are both great we spent all our time at the adult pool which was very quiet and relaxing. We stayed on the club level with a balcony our room was large and had a large bathroom. The room had a refrigerator we took all the hotels drinks our and purchased our own from the store across the street. We did add the breakfast buffet to our package and it was well worth it! The lunch at the hotel is good but is a little pricey. The Dinners were very good but the food is on the pricey side as well. If I was going back I would add breakfast and lunch to my package and go out for dinner every night. The beach was very beautiful and calm there is an island that protects the beach in front of the hotel. I know other areas of the beach were corroded. There is a fantastic sandwich shop across from the hotel that serves sandwiches on fresh french bagets for around 5.00 and is well worth it! We took the bus to the local restaurants and walked to the mall. We felt that it was the best price for a good/upper middle of the road hotel. Over all the hotel was nice they have updated much of the hotel. Only negative is the travel people trying to sell you on the excursions book them before you get there by calling them directly. DO NOT TAKE THE JUNGLE BOAT TOUR go snorkeling through Manta Divers its an USA owned Co with USA phone number call ahead.

The hotel was amazing everything was really clean and the service was exceptional. We had no problems at all. The beach was by far the best beach in Cancun not to crowded at all. The location of the hotel is very short walk from all of the downtown activities which was nice. All of the food and drinks were great and we will definatly be traveling to Cancun agian and we will stay at the InterContinental agian. We were very pleased with our experience
