The lobby and the landscaping were nice. The motel is used by weekly and monthly patrons and people were grilling outside their rooms since they live there. The decor is outdated, the carpets dirty and with holes. The vents in the room where all fuzzy with dust and crud. Thankfully the bath was clean and the bedding appeared to be clean. We would never stay there again and you really need to lower your rating of this place. It was a nice facility years ago...but not any more. The continental breakfast was very limited and only ceral was left when we got there at 8am. No one came to refill anything.

We went to Jackson for a family wedding. We arrived Thursday afternoon and stayed until Sunday. We did not have maid service the whole time we were there. On Friday morning at 9:00 the maid knocked on the door to ask if we wanted maid service. I have never been asked this before at a hotel. I asked her if there was an extra charge. She said no extra charge so I siad yes we did want it. I added that we had 4 people in the room but there were only enough towels for two so I would like fresh towels for 4. She made a note. We left the hotel around 10:00 am and returned at 5:00 pm. The beds were unmade, the bathroom was dirty. The maid had simply placed a stack of towels on the toilet. I called the front desk and was told this was unacceptable and he would leave a note for management. He told me a manager would talk to us before we left on Sunday. We are still waiting to hear from anyone. Saturday morning a different maid knocked on the door. She wanted to know if we wanted our sheets and towels changed. She told me that the boss had yelled at them for not giving full service. I told her that fresh sheets and towels were not that important. I wanted the beds made and the floor vaccumed and the bathroom cleaned. She asked me to sign a paper saying that I didn't want fresh towels. We were watching the World Cup Game on tv and asked her to come back after noon. She said she would come back at 1:00. W e left the hotel at 12:15 and returned at 2:30, no maid service.

We were in area for a funeral and stayed 3 nights. It was fairly busy for the time of year but was still quite. Rooms were clean service was great, location was easy access to interstate, price was really good - did I mention it was quite which we have found to be a problem in a lot of places. We slept well and had a nice stay. We are going back soon on vacation and planning to stay there again. We have stayed in rooms from 5 star to never again dumps (that cost more than this one) and for a casual stay we have never beat the value of this one.

Well, I read all the reviews, actually after I had booked the hotel for me and my two daughters (8 and 11). in September 2008 So I was a little bit on egde on what to expect. Well, what a surprise. Travelocity must have renovated that hotel, at least the interior. The room was clean, the furniture seemed almost new, TV worked, new refrigerator, coffee maker and we even had a balcony. The pool, outside, was clean and the water nice and warm. With the price even came a breakfast with cerial, fruit, bread etc. No waffles tough and the donuts were a day old. Hey what do you expect at 6am in the morning. And the coffee was hot, just what I needed in the morning. The people at the counter in the evening and in the morning were friendly and fast, despite that the hotel was fully booked. We will stay there again. It's a good deal. It's not a four or five star hotel, but I give it a full 5 rating due to the very good price. Hotel is right on the highway, but we had our room and balcony facing to the inside. So we didn't hear anything from the highway during the night. Also good news: There are some restaurants only a couple exits away. We stopped by the Subway, next exit to the west. We didn't check if they have a fitness room or so. So I just don't know. Good luck with your stay.

I stayed in Dec, there where two temperatures in my room very hot and freezing cold. Most things were stained. Blankets were flimsy. The continental breakfast was stale doughnuts and bad coffee. Very low price, but I will pay more for better accommodations.
