Staff was very friendly, we checked in after being at Holiday World all day and there was no problems with late check-in. The hotel is only 20min from the park which is nice after being exhausted from being there all day. Room was clean and comfortable. We requested a roll-away and it was brought to our room as we were arriving. Breakfast consisted of mini muffins and french toast sticks, but it was free. I will warn you that there are no elevators so if you have a problem with stairs request a first floor room. There was a little noise from some kids in the halls at night, but we were so tired that it didn't matter. There was a pool and a jacuzzi, but we did not use them. Overall nice hotel!

Hotel is very outdated. Access to all rooms is supposed to be by key card, but doors were always unlocked. Rooms were out of date, and not too clean. Beds had to be at least 15 years old, and tv package was basic at best. No kids channels at all. Location is good, and pool area is nice. Also, skip the breakfast buffet in the hotel, it was $40 for a family of 4, and not very good. Shoneys is about 2 blocks away, that is much better for the money. I would rather have spent $10 more per night for Hampton Inn, where breatkfast is included in room price. Staff was helpful, but overall the facility was just too outdated to justify a return trip.

My husband and I went for a weekend getaway at Patoka Lake. This was a good central location for us. The staff was nice. The room was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool and whirlpool.We would definitely stay again.
