Have you ever heard the term: "you get what you pay for"? Well in this case, I suppose you do. The price point is great but if you are looking for more than just a place to sleep, this may not be your first choice. For two bachlor skiers, this worked for us. The location in the heart of town is good, just a short walk to the gondola and many resturants and shops. If this is a stay with someone special and you can afford more, then avoid this place. This property probably has not been upgraded in several years and shows it. The manager (owner?) was a nice guy but you could tell that he was trying to cut overhead any way possible. Examples: no coffee in the morning (although advertised as "free"); asking us if we wanted the room cleaned and then handing us a stack of clean towles the next day; not clearning the parking lot of snow after a storm and just letting the vehicles make a path on their own. I will say this though, I felt very secure at this place because the manager kept an eye on all the comings and goings in this small property. If you are looking for luxury this is not the place. I had no problem though, I was there to ski hard all day, go to dinner and then watch a little TV and go to sleep early and do it all over again.

Check in was easy once I figured out the clerk did not speak English. The room was a non-smoking room. The person before us got away with it by REMOVING the smoke detector. The shower had mold and there was mildew thorughout the room at least in areas that the paint had not begun to peel. The TV barely worked and did not have the "free" HBO. At 4 PM on day one housekeeping had not been through. I asked the clerk and was met with surprise that I wanted the room serviced. I had to remind him it was part of the nightly rental. They did finally show up an hour later. The room reservation was for four people - bath towels for three, hand towels for two and one washcloth. The only positive I can offer is that the location.

09/18/2010Very courteous staff an clean room/bathroom. upgraded to a better room and was happy. would definitely come back again.
