  This is a fantastic lodge in the Ecuadorian rain forest. The grounds are beautiful, the pool crystal blue refreshment with a view of the Napo river, fantastic fresh food, hammocks for napping with the sound of the river rushing by in the background. Private bilingual guides arrange trips into the jungle where you can partake of such jungle living experiences as eating lemon ants and poking at scorpion spiders.
  
  Nearby there is a peaceful town of 600 friendly, laid back villagers where you can watch traditional crafts being made and have a tour of an actual jungle home.
