Did not meet our expectations

The room was clean. That's the only positive. The toliet was broken and the stopper in the sink was broke. We thought we were getting a 3 star hotel and ennded up in a 1 star or less.

Great place to stay pre-cruise

We arrived at the airport 9pm and the complimentary shuttle had just left the airport and would be 45 minutes before it would return, so the desk clerk told us to take a cab so they didn't want us to wait - they payed including tip. Room was clean, comfortable king bed, (great pillows). The staff was the greatest - most helpful the next day in giving us directions to bus stop, shopping, where to go downtown. Breakfast was the usual fare, did have fresh baked waffles, cereal, muffins, rolls, hard-boiled eggs, fruit - good - free USAToday was nice. TV, microwave, coffee pot, refrigerator in room. Shuttle to cruise port was a plus. (The main reason we stayed was the shuttle) we didn't have to rent a car. They are ready for cruise day with a 19 passenger van pulling a trailer for luggage. Only drawback would be if you were not willing or able to walk and did not have a car. Any restaurants were about 1/2 mile, but we didn't mind. Oakwood shopping was nearby with restaurants and stores. We plan to go back to Ft Lauderdale sometime and this would be our choice of a place to say. Don't hesitate!!!

Falling Apart
03/31/2009Stayed 3 nights - convenient airport 24 hr. transportation. decent breakfast selection. room had burn on carpet. mold in bathroom. swimming pool had many tiles missing around the sides and cracks ...
Stayed 3 nights - convenient airport 24 hr. transportation. Decent breakfast selection. Room had burn on carpet. Mold in bathroom. Swimming pool had many tiles missing around the sides and cracks in the side - warm water though. Outside pool tables were never clean. Overall we would stay elsewhere if comparable airport service. Expected cleaner, nicer facilities for the price paid.

The rooms a little worn but kept clean. The front desk staff was great very attentive. The pool was terrible the hot tub was hot but dirty and it did not work. The pool was clean enough but the bottom cement was all chipping off, cut your feet while walking around. I would stay again because of the location was in walking distance to food and the mall, but would not stay there if traveling with family.
