These pictures are deceiving......

I chose this hotel based on La Qunita's name and the pictures shown. The hotel is brand new but they will never have a pool as relaxing as shown in the picture. Infact the pool wasn't ready for use. Why did I pack my swim suit? Actually, none of the pictures represent the new La Quinta in Hobbs. It is nice, because it is new. But it's noisy, especially at night. This hotel will be nice when it is finished but please update the pictures. It's too bad that the all mighty dollar rules the world. This would have been a much better stay if the pool was finished. But of course, I would have stayed somewhere else if I had known before I gave away my credit card, if I had known the pool and work out room were not finished. Oh and to use the microwave, I had to unplug the refrigerator or the tv. Not enough outlets to accommodate everything.

I booked this hotel based on the photos shown. This is a new LQ and it is nice, but the pool is not finished and it will not look anything like the pictures. As will the lobby or the breakfast bar. The microwave can't be used untill the TV is unplugged. There are not enough outlets for everything.The airconditioner didn't work the first night. After some investigation we found that a reset button had not been pushed. The bathrooms have wood floors very nice but they smell as if they were urinated on and can't get the smell out of the floor. Once this hotel is completely finished I am sure it will be very nice and totally comfortable. I'm just disapointed that the all mighty dollar has forced it be open before everything is finished and before actual photos are posted.
