Upon entering the lobby we were greeted by a rude Host, disheveled and unkempt, claiming that there are no more rooms. I have a reservation I said. He said that doesn’t matter. What he was telling me was that even though I was here to check-in La Quinta sold my room from under me, and to top that they were still going to charge me for the room! He said if you booked through web it doesn’t count as a real reservation. I thought this was an isolated incident but just found out a friend had the same problem at another La Quinta in New Jersey. So my recommendation is to not use La Quinta they will sell your room from under you stranding you in the process. In the end I got a room but it shouldn't have taken the effort I needed to exert to get it.

There was dust and dead bugs in the corner. The TV and dresser was dusty. The people at the front desk was lackadaisical. The price was okay for the accommodations but if you can afford to spend a little more try another hotel.

I attempted to check in at 7:15 pm, needing to get into my room immediately and shower and change for dinner, meeting friends at 8:30. I was told my room was not ready and could I please sit and wait 30 min. When I said I could NOT sit and wait and expected my room to be ready, I was given a room promptly. The parking lot was rather devoid of cars, so this apparently was not due to alot of people checking in late afternoon. The room was clean and well-decorated, but the beds were full sized and not queen, not comfortable for two people per bed.

The sink drain didn't work so we were moved to another room. Stayed FIVE nights and never once was the room cleaned. Each evening when we would return and the room wasn't serviced, we were told we had to come down to the front desk to get linens, coffee, tissue, etc. We left early in the morning and made sure the "do not disturb" sign was not left in the door, but even found it back there one evening so someone had deliberately put it there as an excuse for not cleaning the room.
