Terrible hotel

Why this hotel could ever be considered 3 stars is beyond me. I drove up only to find we were parked across an apartment complex. When we checked in we were greeted by a very nice women, but we quickly realized that this hotel "not Inn" had aged a bit. The smell of mold lingered. The one elevator they had was small and hot. We were placed on the third floor all the way at the end. The walk was dreadful. There wasn't any air circulating. Yes no A/C in the halls. This only enhanced the musty smell. The rooms were of old decor and there was someone elses hair in the tub. The best thing was the bed. It was made perfectly and probably one of the most comfortable ones I could have slept in.

I pulled into the parking lot to see a truck with a bunch of men drinking and been loud. That was just the beginning. I took the shabby elevator up to the third floor where my room was and was confronted with a smell that would make the sewer smell like perfume. The carpet was filthy and the room looked like someone just checked out. The manager hadd no clue of what her hotel looked like and thought that she could accomodate me by moving me to a suite....duh....in the same hotel. I have used a LaQuinta many times before but will never used it again nor will I be using online travel websites for any future travel. Good riddance!!!!
