this la quinta was just ""okay."" small plastic shower, sad shower head. shampoo bottle had no seal and appeared to have been used already. used washcloth hanging on shower curtain rod. toilet ran until we shook the handle. tv has very limited channels, i think 24, and screen turned green every now and then. pool was clean and not crowded, which was enjoyable. one of the main reasons i chose this motel was because i've always had pleasant stays in la quintas in texas....but, this time i wish i had saved about $30 and gone down the street to the motel 6. most of the staff was nice, but there was one crabby guy working there. a little disappointed in breakfast. it had bread, bagels, waffles, hard boiled eggs, raisin bran, corn flakes, yogurt, and fruit. it would have been better with more cereal selections and danishes/muffins. the whole atmosphere felt very much like they were trying to cut back on costs. by the way, a train goes by this motel and it is pretty loud at night. if you are a light sleeper, i wouldn't stay here.

08/30/2008Good service and nice remodeled rooms. breakfast is good. the hotel is actually located on the northeast side of san antonio and far from sea world.
