Excellent location for attending our son's BMT graduation at Lackland. Found the room to smell musty, but bought air freshener at WalMart. Bathroom was very small and the wall air conditioner had a low constant hum. Hotel staff was very pleasant and the breakfast with the Texas shaped waffles were the better part of our stay. For our trip purposes and the price, it was suitable. It seemed to be the only hotel that had food places within walking distance...Dennys and a bbq place (which was good). Wished they heated the pool.

It seemed to me that the hotel was caught with their pants down. The first room we were given had not been cleaned,, but when I called the front desk they were very quick about switching me to another room just two doors down from where we were. They had no clean extra towels and we had to wait for them before going swiming. I picked this hotel as it was very close to Seaworld and it had a good price. When leaving, the cleaning crew knocked on our door at 10:30am to see if we were gone even though check out was 11:00am? (That is probably how they missed cleaning the first room we were assigned.) The staff was friendly and really quick in responding. I would stay again despite the problems.

Our room was ready upon arrival. Very clean and neat. A/C worked great. Pool was a little small but fun. This hotel was a wonderful find for the price! Due to the hotel location (near Sea World) future traveler should be aware that there will be lots of children. That was fine with us. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful. Enjoyed our stay very much.
