This hotel was perfect for our trip to Flagstaff. It was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a welcomed benefit too! Would stay here again and recommend it to my friends!

This was our favorite place in Flagstaff, friendly, clean, awesome breakfast. Until the pet situation got out of control. We got there late w sleeping kids, our room smelled like a wet dog, dog hair everywhere n dog paws prints on the doors, plus the doggie poop everywhere outside, pretty gross. If you are a dog lover best place, if you have kids, stay away!

Comfortable and well located
12/07/2008We spent a comfortabe night with no external noises to disturb our sleep. the continental breakfast was good. there are also several good quality eateries close by.

We went up with the kids to play in the snow for a couple of days - it was a last minute thing - and we were looking for a 4 to 5 star establishment for our comfort. The Radison would have been our first choice, but it was already booked. We found this La Quinta online and booked it to insure a place to stay. I wasn't expecting a whole lot based on the general rates and coupled with the fact they were running a special discount; my expectations were fairly low. The hotel was within a mile of the end of the 17. This made it very easy to get to and when there is traffic in Flagstaff, the easier the better. Check in went fast and the desk staff was plesant enough to deal with. Though they only had a smoking room, and I though I would have to fight for another room as they were now sold out as well, the room smelt fresh. My wife said, "OK," and we brough in our bags. The room was clean, well made and stocked with the essentials. We had two kids with us and the room - though not overly large - accomodated us well. With the morning came the promise of a free continental breakfast. Turned out to be quite convenient. I could take the kids down while the wife got ready (insert joke here) and that turned into quite a time saver. The breakfast was nothing special, but it was enough and saved the time and expense of going out to eat. Maybe some scrambled eggs are in order, but...maybe they can work on that. With no problem at check out, I returned home with the expectation of staying there again.
