I recently stayed at the Lake Powell Resort . I was very disappointed with my stay at your hotel. First of all we were staying with a wedding party and when we tried to book a non lake view room we were told that all that was available was lake view so we booked that, we later found out that people in our party that booked after we did were told the same thing but then called back and talked to a different person and were able to book the cheaper room. Second upon entering the coyote willow building we found the smell of the hallway very offensive, every corner of the the hallway and the room was filled with spiderwebs full of dead bugs. We found our beds to be about as comfortable as a sleeping bag laid on the floor. While showering in was dismayed to find that the tub was slow to drain and by the time i finished my shower I was standing in water above my ankles. In total I found the 4 star price I paid did not match the 2 star motel feel of our stay.

My Husband and I have traveled all over the US and have stayed in every type of accommodations out there...and this was the worst we have ever experienced. The hotel clerk was very friendly upon arrival, she gave us our keys & directions to our room. When we arrived the door was proped open, my husband knocked and no one come to the door so he decided to proceed in. Immediatly upon entering the room I realized that it was nothing like the pictures on their website! I had reserved a King room and the room was only a single queen, no travel size ammenities, nothing. Then we heard running water in the bathroom, upon inspection we realized that the entire tub & shower was taken apart. My husband phoned the front desk & she said she would call us back. After waiting 20 minutes we called back to the desk and she said that there was not another available room and that we would either have to leave or stay there without a bathing facilities. She did say we could use the shower in the pool area to get ready the next day. We decided to stay and make the best of it. The next morning while dining at the restaurant, it was a good thing they had a buffet that was self serve because we had been eating for 30 minutes before our server came to take our drink order! Needless to say $150 per night is much, too much to pay even with a working bath & shower. You would be better served to pitch a tent!

We were disapointed to be in a totally different part of the resort complex from our friends. The restaurant is overpriced with a limited menu but good service. The view out back is nice of the lake and the marina. We spent every day, all day on the water in a boat. Starbucks coffee in the room was nice. We called for room service using the menu provided and were told they discontinued the room service due to liability????? WHat? It was a long walk to get breakfast and the buffet was very expensive, would have like to use the room service. I am not sure we would stay here again. Probably will stay in town where breakfast is included.

We stayed at this hotel during our grand tour of the ""southwest"". The hotel is low rise and set out into several seperate blocks. It is clean and the grounds are very well maintained. Limited variety of food and sometimes rather pushy waitress service. Pool can become rather crowded especially when a coach tour arrives but the view more than makes up for this minor setback. Please note this hotel is located in a National Park, therefore, you will require a pass to gain entry. (Fortunately, we had already purchased an Annual pass as we intended to visit severl parks on our holiday). Ideal for families with young//teenage children. Overall an enjoyable three night break in our somewhat hetic tour.

Had a wonderful stay! We stayed in their newly renovated Lakeview Room which was clean, and well-appointed. Despite the reviews, you need to book a Lakeview Deluxe Room. Service was friendly and helpful. We rented a houseboat and stayed at the hotel the night before. We will definitely come back again next year!
