We were very satisfied with the overall experience during our week at L'Hermitage. The room was large and very comfortable with a spacious bathroom. The business center was easily accessible, along with the sauna and pool. The hotel staff was very gracious and XYZ, our concierge, was most helpful in help us navigate the city and plan our activities. The hotel was just a couple of blocks from the train station and buses were just across the street. However, a large, multi=level parking garage across the street from the hotel along with a large vacant lot adjacent to the hotel made it appear to be in a less desirable area than one would expect.

L'Hermitage is a beautiful hotel. I truly could not have selected a better site to enjoy an extra day of relaxation. We stayed at the L'Hermitage following a 13 day cruise to Alaska. We wanted to rest a bit on land before getting on a plane to return stateside. The hotel rests within walking distance to Chinatown and downtown Vancouver, plus the row of restaurants where you could pick up anything from an impromptu snack to a fine dining restaurant. It is a fairly new hotel (2 years old) and we found the staff to be extraordinarily helpful and attentive. The rooms exceeded our expectations and were very luxurious! We even had an outdoor patio that we were not expecting. What really pleased me was that everything was so centrally located to the hotel so getting around was not difficult at all. The hotel staff helped us with everything we needed in order to get our bearings on where we were and where we wanted to go. They even offered dining tips that floored us, as the results were so wonderful! If we go to Vancouver again, rest assured that we will book arrangements at L'Hermitage for our stay!

1. Very conveniently located, close to Robson, Waterfront, Gas Town, public transportation, etc. 2. Very helpful and cordial staff 3. Homy, cozy and comfortable room 4. Very convenient and welcome guest living room with fireplace, coffee, tea, newspapers 5. Modern, new and elegant 6. Easy and very inexpensive commute from and to airport by 98B and 424 busses (transfer to and from 424 at Airport Station), 98B is one block from the hotel. Many great and inexpenisve eating places like White Spot and Crepe Cafe short walk from the hotel. We will definietly come back and stay at L'Hermitage again. Vancouver trip by Travel website turned out to be one of the best trips in our life.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the staff were very friendly. We had an interior view which was perfect because there was a view of the blue lap pool. The room was gorgeous and the bed super comfortable. I've stayed in Vancouver many, many times and so far this has been my favorite hotel. Can't wait to go back.

My boyfriend and I stayed at L'Hermitage for two nights at the end of the winter holiday season. We were looking for something more modern feeling, but not freakishly austere. We wanted a pool, jacuzzi, clean rooms, and a tv. L'Hermitage had all of these things, plus a few surprises. The front desk was more than helpful in recommending a restaurant. There was an iPod dock in the room. The bed was probably the most comfortable one I've ever experienced. For a quiet, super comfortable, conflict free stay, I wholeheartedly recommend L'Hermitage. I would go back there again, and recommend it to anyone looking for a little getaway. Also, as a professional in the architecture and building industry, I must say that the design details were very well executed. I always keep my eye out for shoddy craftsmanship, and I couldn't find any of it here! Solid choice for a really comfortable stay away.
