- Effective immediately, the Maison Dupuy is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is not allowed in guest rooms or public areas of the hotel, however smoking is allowed in the hotel's courtyard.

We had a wonderful trip. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. The courtyard was a great place to relax after wandering through the Quarter all day. Will definitely be back.

The hotel has a beautiful courtyard, is in a great location, and the room is very comfortable. The downsides were that you could hear people talking in the hallway and in rooms next door, and the food including breakfast is on the pricey side.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed here for one night.I reserved a room with a king bed weeks in advance.I even checked the reservation days before arrival.We checked in,went to the room to find they put us in a double with two full beds.I called the front desk, but there were no rooms with a king available.They said they were sold out.Our romantic getway ended in us sleeping in seperate beds because the full beds were to small.

The room was generally clean, although the tub had a draining issue. This was fixed quickly, but the cleaning staff never addressed the stained toilet even after "cleaning" the room 3x. The bed was very comfortable. The service in the resturant was HORRIBLE! They had to be told to do everything, bring water, refil glasses, take our order, bring the check,etc. It was terrible both times we went there. When compared to the service in other resturants in the French Quater, this was far from the level of service expected. Also, the breakfast in the morning is NOT included and way over priced. The WIfi was about a dependable as FEMA. It was impossible to get it work consistently. The staff was less than professional, as most of their conversations were extremely personal in nature. The housekeepers were very aggressive. While I understand they want to clean the room, they were very rude about it not being available. As others have stated, the location was excellent, but it's surely not a 4 star property. I would stay again, with very decreased expectations.

Room was relatively clean. For a 4 star hotel it was not up to par for MY expectations. Ice could only be found on 2 floors then eventually there was NO ice! There was no coffee pot in our room, we had to call front desk to ask for one then it took over an hour to arrive. There was no menu for room service, that to had to be ordered from the kitchen. Wireless internet didn't work most of the time. All of the extension numbers for each hotel service were "invalid"...had to call the front desk for everything. Front desk clerks were wonderful at check-in but there was an older man who worked the desk on Tues nite who really didn't want to do anything. I asked for another packet of coffee to go with the coffee pot that was brought from the front desk...he said they didn't have anymore but NEVER went and looked. i was NOT impressed with maison dupuy and will NOT stay there again. My sister stayed @ the Ritz Carlton for the same price!
