The hotel was old and smelled old inside the room. The room seemed clean enough. The person I dealt with at the front counter was very pleasant and friendly. One very nice feature was a little fridge in the room that was large enough for us to freeze 4 bottles of water overnight in the freezer section to use in our cooler the next day. The bathroom didn't really have anywhere to hang wet towels... one little double hook on the wall, but no towel rack other than the one the clean towels were in above the toilet. It was warm in the room and I would have liked to leave the window open a couple inches, but there was no way to lock it in that position or no stick to put in the track to keep it from opening.

06/11/2007This hotel is in need of renovations and remodeling. everything is old and smokey. ok for $$, but another hotel closer looked nicer.

Clean & convenient
07/05/2006Walking distance to train, small boat harbor. clean. very friendly & helpful staff. our bed was not too comfortable but would stay here again for price & convenience.
