We stayed for our 6th Wedding Anniversary. I loved the location, it fails to share how close it is to the Maine Mall & for me that's where all the food is and it's easy/on easy/off the highway and close to the Old Port as well. We even trekked North to LL Bean in Freeport. I enjoyed the location. The room was very clean, bed and linens were comfy. Great AC as well. Staff was very pleasant, my hair dryer wasn't working and they brought one up right away which was a treat.

We were there for only one night and looked forward to a swim and sauna. Alas, there were at least 100 high school kids celebrating in those areas. No room for us in the pool. Packed in like sardines we said NO THANKS and gave up our respite. Find out who else will be using the hotel before making your reservation.

My husband is in the Army and we travel a great deal. This has to be be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in! It was clean, roomy and the customer service from the front desk to the housekeepers and various others was superb. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want a clean, quiet, relaxing place to stay in the Portland area. It's close to everything and yet far enough out to be peaceful. The grounds are lovely and the care the staff offers can't be beat. Thank you to all who made our stay so enjoyable.

this was the nicest hotel I've stayed at for any price. Not that I've stayed anywhere super-expensive, but I have definitely paid a lot more and gotten much less. Our room was absolutely immaculate, service was flawless, the restaurant (Fire and Water I think it was called) is as good or better than any of the ones we ate at downtown. I can't think of a single bad thing to say. If you're staying in Portland this is where you want to be.
