11/26/2010Heater took an hour ( no exaggeration) to warm up the room, with temps of 32 degrees outside. bathroom light was faulty, shower water did not heat up.

We stayed there based on the reviews of others, basically just wanted a place to sleep. We walked in, and there were bugs galore around all the lights (that buzzed) Mold covered the shower floor and wall, the people next to us were making a porn (or so it sounded) My wife and I were on our way to go camping, and we wanted to just stop for the night. It was cheap, so we booked it. We got there super late, and left as early as possible just to get out of that place. The fan had been modified to hold the lights because they had been broken so many different times, there wasn

I must say that I was very satisfied with my stay here. I spent two nights here during 4th of July weekend while I hiked in Yosemite. The room was clean, the pool was nice, and much to my surprise there was a microwave, refridgerator, and somewhat large television. I highly recommend this Travelodge to anyone who is looking for a clean and comfortable room that doesn't want to pay an arm and a leg for it.

What was good: Inexpensive, room was quiet, room heater works well. Not so good: 1st thing I noticed when I opened the door was a 4 inch hole in the middle of the bed cover. Not a great impression. Took about 10 minutes to wake up the desk clerk who was sleeping in the back office (at 4:00 PM). The ceiling light/fan fixture would constantly blink due to a loose lamp socket. The metal strike plate on the door jamb was missing, the only thing keeping the door locked was the wood door jamb. Could't get an outside line on the phone to make a call, and I discovered that if I wasn't careful, the bathroom sink faucet would flood the vanity counter top. Not really as bad as it sounds, just a lot a little things that should be addressed by the owners.
