  One of two passenger elevators out of order. Call buttons on one floor out of order.Beds very hard. Bathroom exhaust fan out of order due to clogs of dust and hairs caught in the blades. Toilet requires reflushing to empty waste. One lobby toilet out of order.

  Perfect location, 2 minute walk from pubs, trains, buses etc. Hotel upgraded one room to a refurbished clean modern castle view. Other room was not refurbished, 2 twin beds, smaller room, but clean, good shower pressure. Would stay here again in a second!

  This hotel is located in view of Edinburgh Castle. A beautiful site. The late night check-in staff was extremely rude and hateful. He did not want to honor our no smoking preference and told us he did not have to. When we told him we would leave he changed his tune.
