  Microtel is a very nice budget hotel. It is much better than most competitors in the price range. The only drawback with this particular one is that it is tucked behind another larger hotel, and isn't easy to see from the street as you are trying to find it. It was convenient for going in to Mobile and Pensacola for sightseeing. There were several good restaurants within easy driving distance.

  We stayed there May 8th and used their park and cruise rate. You stay a night, the hotel van takes you to the cruise ship pier, you cruise, the hotel van picks you up at the pier and your car is safely parked at the hotel. It is a real bargain compared to the pier parking charges. The hotel was extremely clean, the rooms were large with flat screened tvs and the free breakfast was good. They even provide hot cookies in the evening. The staff was helpful and pleasant. We will definately stay here again. They even honored our AAA motorclub discount. Pets are also allowed. Its really a great inexpensive yet really nice inn.
