When I saw the size of the room I understood the "Microtel"; I also quickly realised that two people and a 20lb dog weren't bumping into each other as I'd experienced in some motels. The rooms are designed ergonomically having dispensed with the fridge & microwave - there's a clean refreshment area off the lobby - and the usual table & chairs with the remaining furniture specifically selected for the design. The bathroom is also compact but comfortably so - no sense of being cramped - with a strong water supply. The bed was comfortable; we both slept like logs. The desk staff member was helpful & courteous and the motel generally was well kept. Our dog was accepted OK and there was an adjoining open green area suitable for walking her. The only minor problem is that the motel is set back and downhill from the road compared to its neighbours and so you need to watch carefully when arriving.

09/24/2009Very clean, very convenient with a friendly staff. nothing fancy here, but i would highly recommend this hotel to the cost-conscious traveller. i know i am gong back.

We got a room not expecting much becaus of the price. The hotel was clean, front desk staff was very courteous and helpful, the shower had super water pressure and the bed was so comfortable with comfortable pillows and nice comforter. The only bad thing was some unruly, loud guests but not the hotel's fault. We only planned on staying 1 night but stayed 2 instead. The only thing that would have made it perfect was a pool!
