Description: |
Situated on an historic Roman site, the Mill Hotel was opened by its present owners in 1987. The original Griffiths Cornmill building dates from 1830 and great care has been taken to sympathetically incorporate many of the original architectural features during the conversion into a hotel. The hotel has been extended in recent years with the addition of the impressive south wing, linked to the original building via a glass walled bridge over the Shropshire Union Canal.

Hotel amenities include a dining room, a fitness center, a swimming pool, room service, non-smoking rooms, a hot tub, wheelchair access, executive floors, meeting rooms, and laundry facilities.

The 129 Bedrooms in this hotel are spread between the two wings of the Hotel. The North Wing of the hotel provides a wide selection of rooms, some of which have a canal view, some are located in the original Mill building, and some even have balconies. The South Wing accessed via a glass walled footbridge over the Shropshire Union Canal houses the Club Rooms. The south wing also is home to the Champagne Room, the most luxurious room of this hotel. The hotel tries to provide a room for every budget and situation. |
