You know what they say about London hotels. This isn't a bad hotel by London standards - several airlines put their flight crews here - but I couldn't get past my bathroom's funky smell, it was like vinegar. I also had a noisy AC and couldn't keep the room warm enough without it. Otherwise the room was small and simple. The best thing about the hotel is it's location - it's right near the Gloucester Rd Tube Stop, with 2 grocery stores nearby and many dining options.

it was a great location, literally 1 min away from the train station. at the end of he trip, * plus was supposedly added to my bill for eating at their sister hotel which never happened. the housekeeping put the do not disturb sign on the door and did not clean the room, and left us a not saying if we need the room cleaned, we should call. I did not appreciate that, other than that, i was a nice hotel and a great location.

It is just across the street from Gloucester Street Station. Conveniently located! Has an ATM nearby which is the best way to convert US to UK money. Small grocery store cafes pubs restaurants... all in walking distance #40basically all just across the street#41. You could have a full vacation for a month and not be more than half a mile from the hotel! The hotel is nice just like the virtual tours on their website. The pictures dont just show the good and hide any bad. Its very clean. Felt safe and secure. Concierge was super! Doormen were fantasitic! Desk staff very good too but didnt interact with them as much. Housekeeping was great too. You might need to ask for another hand towel or washcloth but theyll provide quickly! Check-in and check-out went very smoothly. It was also very quiet. Very little to no noise from outside. We had about 25 or 30 TV and music channels to chose from. Would highly recommend. We didnt mind the low showerhead #40which seemed more like a high tub than a low showerhead... big step up into the bathtub#41. Loved the closet space and hairdryer. Do bring a travel alarm clock with you!

I stayed here for 5 days during a business trip in February. This hotel is kind of pricey but they all are in London, and I wasn’t paying out of my pocket, so I didn’t mind as much. It looks like it has been a while since the last re-furnish, but the interior and the rooms still look very nice and clean. Location is a big advantage for this hotel, since there is a tube station with 2 lines right around the corner, as well as several restaurants and a super market. There are also several currency exchange places offering good rates with no exchange fee. The hotel staff was helpful to me. I saw business as well as leisure travelers, and several airline crew staying at this hotel. Overall, it is a good crowd. My only complaint is that the TV turns on at about 75 decibels by default and the connecting door between the rooms have poor soundproofing. And the person next door to me apparently didn’t know how to lower the volume on his TV.

Very nice hotel, well located and close to multiple tube lines. Rooms are quite spacious in the new buildings, but very small in the old building. Unfortunately, room amenities like air conditioning and television don't always work well. Reception staff are rude and argumentative. There is no concept of customer service in evidence.
