My family and I stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay very much. The veiws from our room of the East River, Empire State Building, and The Chrysler Building were totally AWESOME!!!!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would definetly stay there again. We all felt safe at night and everything was within walking distance.

I enjoyed the views from the room of this hotel. We could see the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building as well as the UN and river from our room. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. There was a bit of a walk to the nearest train but that wasn't a problem for us. I felt that that the room service menu was outrageously priced. I usually like to order in at times and found that going out was a better option with those crazy prices. Even a pot of coffee was out of the question. I liked the gym and pool. The hotel is aging a bit (stains on the couch and floor) and can no longer justify those room service prices. Still if you can get the $* a night deal that we got for the Thankgiving Day holiday (Thanks Travel Website!), the Millenium is a good deal by NYC standards. I still prefer the nearby NY Helmsley.

A great location for Columbus Day weekend. We enjoyed our stay and found everyone very helpful. Our room overlooked the river and my husband enjoyed seeing the boat traffic instead of a view of city traffic. We would definitely stay again at this hotel.

This was a great hotel to choose for a price conscious stay in Manhattan for a Saturday night. It's near the U.N. which is a quiet place on the weekend, but it's not a long walk to Times Square and all the action. Because this hotel is quieter on the weekend, the front desk staff was wonderful and upgraded us to a penthouse suite that had plenty of room and views of Roosevelt Island and the huge "Pepsi Cola" neon sign in Long Island City along the Queens side of the East River. There is a great indoor pool on the 27th floor and breakfast at the Ambassador Grill was good. This was half the price of a hotel in Times Square for the night and allowed us to show our kids the historic U.N. in the same trip as the Ferris Wheel in Toys R Us in Times Square. Some of the furnishings and decor are a little dated, but it's clean and well-kept and a good value for the $$.
